IF THE WORLD WERE PAPER?

If the world were paper?
All the sea were ink,
And if all the trees were pens,
What would you write to free your head?

If the entire world were sand,
Then it would be simply bland.
Unless, you add the ink from the sea.
Making clay and sculpting a new way.

Relying in your inner human being,
Thinking of what artistic thoughts you want to free.
Remembering that all is blank so you can generate a new theme.

If the world were a blank sheet of paper,
What would you create?
Would you write laws of peace or history?
Ideas of faith or science?
Fame or wealth?

Would you paint a new world of time?
A path that you now have the ability to create and pave.
What would you do if you had your way?
Freeing your ideas on this paper and changing all past days.

If the world were paper,
All the sea were ink,
And If all the trees were pens,
What would you write to free your head?

thanks for putting up so much good poetry.I like the challenge you present in this one. taking time to reflect on creative potential and being willing to redefine reality is a wonderful goal to access. the words really flow too, and have a great rhythm. I enjoy "remembering that all is blank." i hope you keep on going with the work you have built up here.
